CHAPMAN will from today host the FBC Region V golf tournament with more than 10 countries taking part.
Formerly known as the Zone VI games, the event will this year be held in Zimbabwe and FBC are the title sponsors.
The financial institution came on board and are sponsoring the tournament for $18 000.
Several countries like South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Malawi are taking part in the tourney.
Uganda have come as an invited guest.
The Zimbabwe team includes the leading order of merit players after the MAWEGU Open Championships in Chegutu last month.
Professional golfer Simon Murungweni is the team coach and believes they have prepared well for the tournament.
The annual Region V Golf Tournament was last held in Kitwe, Zambia, last year.
Liberty Gumisa, who has since turned professional, was team captain last year.
Arnold Burasho, Tafara Mpofu, Tatenda Makunde, Rasheed Mohammed, Thompson Masiya, Promise Sumburero, Conrad Makoto and Cosmas Siyakobo are some members of the team.
