The much publicised show kicked off at 11am and was curtain-raised by an up-and-coming gospel group that was led by an artiste called Joyce.
The group managed to meet the standards of the much anticipated show, as they kept their fans on their feet. The group performed different songs that were from their first album.
The group entertained gospel music lovers with good dance moves. The Charambas and the Fishers of Men later got on stage in style and gave their fans real value for money.
Mai Charamba used her powerful voice to usher in Fishers of Men with her song Universal Winner.
Her fans could not hold themselves as they screamed and sang along with the songstress.
Soon after the song all the members of Fishers of Men led in a prayer inviting the Lord to guide them in all the proceedings.
Immediately Charles Charamba introduced the second song Kuteerera. Fans could be heard singing along, as they enjoyed the voice of their gospel guru.
Fans that were standing next to the stage could be seen praying, as Charamba was singing his song.
When Charamba introduced his third song Moria, children who were standing next to the stage quickly jumped on to the stage and started dancing.
Some fans could be heard whistling as they exhibited different dances that include Zora Butter, which is popular in sungura circles.
Tholakele Sibanda, a fan who attended the show, said there was nothing wrong with dances like Zora Butter as it was another way of praising the lord.
“This is our time as Christians to dance to our Lord Almighty and we are not limited as to the dances we exhibit. Who said Zora Butter is for sungura music only?” she asked.
Soon after completing Moria, Charamba began playing songs that had been requested by fans via text messages and Facebook.
Some of the requests that were belted on the afternoon included Tapfugama, Hakuna Chombo, Mutsvene, Nyarara and Anosimudza Marombe.
Pastor Charamba took the opportunity to encourage his fans to accept God in their lives.
