Charambas to headline Family Fun Day

Whatever amount that will be raised will be channelled towards the completion of a church in Southerton/Lochinvar circuit while the balance will used to buy a house for the pastor. Circuit leader Liberty Kumbirai Mandipira said they acquired a loan to buy their pastor’s parsonage and need to complete the unfinished church building.

“We came up with a plan to seek for a loan from the bank so that we could finish our sanctuary at the circuit and to buy our pastor a house. We hope that the Family Fun Day show will help us raise money to complete our projects and to pay back the loan,” he said.

Mandipira urged the public to come in numbers to support their initiative. “We are calling upon everyone to attend the show as they are also going to get value for their money. Baba naMai Charamba are performing and I want to assure revellers that there will be a lot happening, fun and spacious space for business people willing to advertise their products,” he said.

Of the three performing gospel artistes, very little is known about Beauty James, but she will be there to prove her mettle. Pastor Charamba’s act will set the tone for the day with the choral group Vabvuwi expected to thrill the crowd with their powerful hymns.
The show promises nothing short of fireworks and those in the know can attest that whenever the Charambas perform, fans will be left asking for more.
