ZIMBABWE Cricket (ZC) has announced that former South Africa international, Charl Langeveldt will join the new Chevrons technical team as the bowling coach.

He is the latest appointment made by ZC following the roping in of his counterpart Justin Sammons and former Zimbabwe international Dion Ebrahim as head and assistant coach of the Chevrons respectively. Ebrahim is also the batting coach.

The 49 year old Langeveldt is not the only latest appointment made by ZC with Ravish Gobind and Curtly Diesel coming in as Strategic Performance Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach respectively.

All the appointments were made in consultation with Sammons, who also opted to retain Stuart Matsikenyeri, although he now assumes the role of Fielding Coach, while Amato Machikicho will continue serving as the team’s Physiotherapist.

ZC is yet to finalise the appointment of the Team Manager.
