TOWERING former Chicken Inn and Caps United defender, Charles Mutero is attending trials at MTN Premier League of Swaziland champions, Mbabane Swallows.
Fresh from his stint at BeMobile Premier League outfit, Mochudi Centre Chiefs where he made his debut in 2015, Mutero has been in the country for two weeks.
Last weekend, he travelled with Swallows to Ulundi, South Africa, and sat out the entire Mangosuthu Legacy Cup semi final 1-2 defeat to Amazulu on Saturday.
The Joey Antipas -coached Amazulu went on to lose 0-1 to Bloemfontein Celtics in the finals.
With Talent Maphosa’s future at Swallows almost uncertain, Mutero could be a direct replacement.
Recent success, both domestically and in Africa, has not quenched Mbabane Swallows insatiable appetite for more glory.
The red and white capital city giants are currently assessing a Ghanaian midfielder Mahmoud Sliman, Zimbabwean centre back Mutero and Namibian forward known as Ronald.
Swallows General Manager Sandile a?Beyond 2000a? Zwane confirmed the presence of the three international players who are being assessed.

It would seem, Muteroas door at the Batswana club has been shut firmly in his face with an advert seeking players, one of those a defender.
