Another vehicle on the verge of being smuggled into Zimbabwe has been recovered.
The car was intercepted by the police while being towed across the Limpopo river by donkeys yesterday.
Police spokesman Brig Motlafela Mojapelo said a new shape Mercedes Benz sedan C220 was intercepted just in time before disappearing into Zimbabwe.
a�?The suspects were using donkeys to pull the car across the river but our members pounced on them after the donkeys were apparently no longer able to pull it through the sand.a�?
The suspects fled into the bushes towards the Zimbabwe side.
