SCOTTLAND have appointed lawyer Everson Chatambudza as the new club chairperson.

This is part of their restructuring, which also sees some of the executive leadership elevated to the board.

The club confirmed Chatambudza’s appointment on Tuesday.

The outgoing chairman, Tonderai Sakupwanya, and former vice chairman, Musa Gwasira, will become part of the club’s Board of Directors.

“Scottland Football Club is pleased to announce important leadership changes as we continue strengthening the future of our club,” said the club.

The statement expressed gratitude to Sakupwanya and Gwasira for their outstanding service and extended a warm welcome to Chatambudza and Chidzidzi.

This week, the club also parted ways with CEO Ronald Moyo and they are still to announce his successor.
