Chatunga under investigation over shooting incident

CHATUNGA Bellarmine Mugabe, son of late President Robert Mugabe, is under investigation by South African police following a shooting incident at his home in Hyde Park, Johannesburg, yesterday morning.

Details surrounding the shooting remain unclear, with authorities working to establish circumstances that led to the incident.

Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Sello yesterday confirmed the ongoing investigation, stating she was on the way to the scene to gather more information.

“At this stage, we are still at the scene and will give an update once confirmed,” said Col Sello, indicating that further details would be released after a thorough assessment.

The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed.
