A 45-YEAR-OLD Chegutu man has been sentenced to an effective three months in prison after being convicted of indecently assaulting a woman last month.

The court heard that Mugachi opened his trousers and exposed his manhood before rubbing it on the victim’s waist.

The offender only stopped after the victim asked him what he was doing.

A police report was made, leading to Mugachi’s arrest.

The court initially handed the offender a six-month sentence before three months were suspended on condition that he does not commit a similar offence within the next five years.
