adminLONDON — Chelsea have gazumped Crystal Palace and West Ham to agree a stunning £33 million deal with Marseille for striker Michy Batshuayi.
The Blues have also seen off competition from Juventus to land the coveted striker, who scored 17 goals in Ligue 1 last season.
The 22-year-old will now be granted special permission to leave the Belgium squad for a medical and is expected to sign a five-year deal to become Antonio Conte’s first signing.
Chelsea have had Batshuayi on their shortlist for some time.
