PREMIERSHIP pacesetters Chicken Inn return to action this weekend following a week of inactivity as they were not part of the Chibuku Super Cup semi-finals at Mandava.
Joey Antipas’ men were beaten 0-1 by champions Dynamos in their last league match at Barbourfields. The Gamecocks will be without Tafadzwa Kutinyu, who is serving one-match suspension, when they date How Mine at Luveve on Saturday.
The midfielder was the hero in the reverse tie as he scored the all-important goal for Chicken Inn. Also suspended for the weekend fixtures are Dynamos midfielder and stand-in skipper Stephen Alimenda.
The midfielder accumulated yellow cards in the games against ZPC Kariba, Chicken Inn and Whawha. DeMbare meet Harare City at Rufaro with a lot at stake for the two teams.
Sunshine Boys coach Taurai Mangwiro said they wanted to finish among the top six in the race. These two teams will clash again at the end of month in the Chibuku Super Cup final set for Bulawayo.
Triangle’s Marvellous Mukumba, Buffaloes striker Jacob Muzokomba and Tsholotsho’s Simbarashe Gorogodyo are the other players suspended this weekend.
