CHICKEN Inn have appointed Philani Mabhena as their new assistant coach, marking a return to familiar territory for the experienced gaffer.

Mabhena steps in to replace Fungai “Tostao” Kwashi, who was reassigned to the club’s development structures during the latter part of the first half of the season.

No stranger to the Gamecocks, Mabhena previously served as assistant coach during the club’s promotion to the top-flight league in 2011. His coaching résumé includes stints with Highlanders, FC Platinum, How Mine, and clubs in Botswana.
