CHICKEN Inn Football Club board member responsible for Legal and Governance Affairs, Tavengwa Hara, has taken another significant step in strengthening his credentials in sports law after successfully completing the prestigious Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) Summer Academy.
The respected Bulawayo lawyer attended the online programme, which ran from July 6 to 10, earning a Certificate of Attendance from the Lausanne, Switzerland-based Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the world’s highest authority for the settlement of sports-related disputes.
Celebrating the achievement, Chicken Inn paid tribute to Hara on its social media platforms.

The CAS Summer Academy brings together lawyers, administrators, academics and sports professionals from across the world, providing in-depth training on the role of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, international sports regulations, disciplinary procedures, anti-doping matters and dispute resolution mechanisms.
