Chicken Slice wins Sadc award

Chicken Slice made it to the regional quality awards after winning the national annual quality award (large enterprise) hosted by the Standards Association of Zimbabwe last year.
“It is a great honour for the Chicken Slice family to get such recognition from Sadc for our efforts and we are really proud of that.

“This is a motivation for us to continue working tirelessly in order to deliver quality service to our customers and keep growing our brand even beyond our borders,” said Mr Mutyebere.

The award is an addition to numerous business awards that Chicken Slice has won in the past two years it has been operating and this has placed the fast food outlet among the best-rated service providers within the sub-region.

“The Sadc Quality Awards aim to recognise and appreciate organisations and individuals who are contributing to quality advancement in all sectors of Sadc.
“This is done by having measurement and quality systems, procedures and processes that are in line with local, regional and international practices and who use quality advancement to support national and regional economic development and growth,” said Sadc in a statement on the awards procedure.

Chicken Slice opened its first outlet on May 1, 2010 along the Harare-Masvingo highway in Mvuma.
The brand comprises Chicken Slice, Creamy Slice, Pizza Slice and Slice Express.
Mr Mutyebere has won the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Midlands Province twice.
