diamonds Cup quarterfinal at Torwood in Kwekwe tomorrow.
The millers have to fight on two fronts as they also need to shrug off complacency following their victories over Zimbabwe Saints and Motor Action in league games.
“I have told these guys that the last game that we played against them is now history.
“Yes we beat them but this is a completely new game, and it being a cup game, we need to score goals.
“Obviously Motor Action will come back stronger and we will have to be well-prepared for it,” said Chidzambwa.
Blue Ribbon, who crushed Shabanie Mine 4-0 in the first round, will miss the services of forward Simon Choenda, who is still nursing an ankle injury he suffered two weeks ago.
But they have been boosted by the return of their striker Talent Munetsi and defender Crispen Dickson who bounce back in the final 18 after recovering from knocks that ruled them out of last week’s action.
Motor Action, who will again be without their coach Joey Antipas, have more to play for in this match, as they seek a change of fortune after seeing their Premiership campaign hitting stormy waters.
The Mighty Bulls have not won a match in their last seven outings but they still believe in their destiny despite the lean spell.
Striker Edmore Chitato yesterday said the Mighty Bulls are hoping to open a new leaf.
“It’s a tricky game, though, because these guys beat us recently. But I believe it was a blessing in disguise because we now know what they are capable of doing.
“At least we are better prepared now and the experience of winning the BancABC Sup8r Cup taught us something.
“We have tested the sweetness of winning cups and we want to repeat that again,” said Chitato.
Coach David George said they are looking forward to a competitive game and have a clean bill of health in their dressing room.
They are coming from a disappointing 0-0 draw at Shabanie Mine and George has several options who include Conrad Whitby, Allen Gahadzikwa, Masimba Mambare and Passmore Bernard to do the midfield tussles
against Ribbon’s contingent led by skipper Daniel Kamunenga, James Jam and speedy winger Eriah Phiri.
