Chief Chikukwa dies

CHIEF Ringisai Chadwork Chikukwa, the 14th Chief Chikukwa of the Chikukwa Clan in Chimanimani District died at Mutare Provincial Hospital on Wednesday.
He was 70.
Chief Chikukwa was appointed chief on October 27, 2003 following the death of his father, Daniel Zvoushe Chikukwa.

Manicaland Provincial Administrator, Mr Fungai Mbetsa, confirmed the death of Chief Chikukwa.

“We want to announce the death of Ringisai Chadwork Chikukwa who was the substantive Chief Chikukwa of the Chikukwa Clan in Chimanimani District.

“He passed on today (Wednesday) at Mutare Provincial Hospital. On behalf of the province, we would like to express our sincere condolences to the Chikukwa Clan,” said Mr Mbetsa.

Burial arrangements had not yet been made at the time of going to Press.
