ZIMBABWEAN forward Michelle Katsvairo has reportedly joined top Botswana club Township Rollers on loan from Kaizer Chiefs.
Katsvairo (27) was placed on the transfer list by Amakhosi at the end of last season.
While Township Rollers communication manager Bafana Pheto was not immediately available to shed light on the development, Botswanaa��s Weekend Post reported that a deal had been concluded between Chiefs and Rollers.
a�?The two teams concluded the agreement last weekend. The Zimbabwean will have his salary paid by Chiefs with Rollers concerned only about his accommodation. The forward is expected to enhance the teama��s attacking option after the plans of signing Tanzanian striker Rashid Mandawa did not materialise,a�? reported the Botswana publication.
An alleged sex tape involving a minor was reportedly at the centre of a storm that tore apart Katsvairoa��s career at South African giants Kaizer Chiefs leading him to being shipped out.
Katsvairo, a former Chicken Inn and FC Platinum forward, didna��t enjoyed much game time at Chiefs with only a handful of matches to his name in the 2016/17 season.
TheA� quick and lethal finisher, joined Amakhosi in the July 2016 transfer window period together with fellow countryman Edmore Chirambadare who has gone on to impress at the Steve Komphela mentored Soweto giants.
Katsvairo was part of the Warriors squad that won the 2017 Cosafa Cup last month.
