THE reigning Mr Zimbabwe Champion “Mbewe” Chienderamwano is hopeful he will win the Mr Iron Man set for tomorrow in Kadoma. The event will be held at The Odyssey Kadoma, which has become home to one of the country’s top body-building contest.

The 29-year-old from Kwekwe, who is based in Botswana, says he is now leaving the stage.

“I have been working really hard and I hope, I am going to make it as the Mr Iron Man so as to have a good exit.

“I would like to leave the arena on a high note, through winning this event on this last dance.

“I know there is a lot of competition but I have worked hard and I am looking forward to walking away with the gold medal.

“There are several good athletes but I have been working hard to make an impact.”

Chienderamwano is now the favourite after defending champion Isaac “Sugar Sugar” Chimuchenga pulled out due to illness. Eddie “Kunta Kinte” Marondera, 2014 Mr Novice Blessing Nyapimbi, Mr Mutare Brighton Mazikana, Brian Saudombe and Partson Chatedzuka are some of the bodybuilders expected to feature prominently.
