Chikombedzi teen eaten by crocodile

The body of Willard Sandani (13) of Bhatiti village in Sengwe communal lands has not been recovered after the crocodile disappeared dragged him into a large pool along the Mwenezi River.

By Tuesday the body had not been recovered and it is suspected that the body was devoured by the crocodile which has not been seen again after the attack.

Willard was swimming with his elder brother in a pool along Mwenezi River when the crocodile suddenly emerged and attacked him.

The crocodile allegedly dragged the boy’s body into the deep waters and emerged only once in the pool before disappearing for good.

Sandani’s brother made a report to villagers who together with the police conducted a search for his body but found nothing.

This is not the first child to be attacked by a crocodile this season. There have also been cases of drownings. Cool Lifestyle would like to urge all teens to stay away from rivers and only use swimming pools under the proper supervision. – The Herald.
