Chicken Inn 1-0 Simba Bhora

ITS advantage Chicken Inn at the break after a competitive opening 45 minutes at Barbourfields Stadium. The hosts lead 1-0 thanks to Lynoth Chikuhwa’s 18th-minute strike, which came after Francis Mostafa’s low long-range effort proved difficult for Simba Bhora goalkeeper William Thole to handle, allowing Chikuhwa to react quickest and tap home from close range.

The opening stages were cagey, with neither side able to create clear chances, although Chicken Inn showed slightly more control in possession through Sefu Louisom and Brendon Rendo. Simba Bhora remained well organised defensively and looked dangerous from set pieces, with Ishmael

Nyanhi’s teasing free-kick towards the half-hour mark comfortably dealt with by Donovan Bernard.

At the interval, it remains a finely balanced contest, with Simba Bhora still very much in the game despite trailing by a goal.
