THE Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe has launched an essay contest to commemorate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Zimbabwe.

The competition, themed ’45 Years On: My Views on China-Zimbabwe Friendship,’ invites citizens of all ages to reflect on the historic partnership between the two nations and envision their future.

The initiative, which has also been promoted on the Embassy’s social media platforms, encourages participants to share personal experiences, insights, and aspirations related to bilateral cooperation.

Aspiring writers are urged to explore key questions, including how to characterise the enduring friendship between the two nations, the tangible benefits of their collaboration, and strategies to deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the years ahead.
