“The major issues that we want the sector to do is desk planning and that has to be done using these computers,” said the Acting President.
She welcomed the donation saying the use of modern information technologies had been identified as a critical component in the success of Zim-Asset.
“You know with technology it is one thing that we are very sure of, it’s one area that other than the four other areas we have pronounced, we are not going to leave out,” she said.
Apart from the Food and Nutrition cluster the others that have been identified as critical under Zim-Asset include the social service and poverty reduction cluster, education, infrastructure and utilities and value addition and beneficiation.

“We hope we can do what we can do for Zimbabwe and Zimbabwean people under the Zim-Asset. Zimbabwe and China are brothers and we want to go hand in hand into the future,” he said.
