“Tiri muhondo musafunge kuti takange tisinganamate. We were dangerous preachers in the war.” Cde Chinotimba said he was mentored by Cde Kangai.
As tribute to the departed hero, he donated 400 litres of paint to repaint Ndyarima Primary School, Cde Kangai’s former school.
“Ndiri kukupai paint iyi through Kangai,” he said. “Dai zvisi izvozvo handaimbokupai.”
Cde Chinotimba challenged other MPs from Buhera to work hard to transform lives of ordinary people in the area.
“Gore rino hakudyiwi rinopisa. We want these roads to be refurbished and Marovanyati Dam should be completed.”
Cde Chinotimba urged people to remain resolute, support Zanu-PF as the party of the future. “Support Zanu-PF, drink with Zanu-PF and eat with Zanu-PF,” he said.
Buhera North MP-elect Cde William Mutomba said Buhera lost a pillar of strength through the death of Cde Kangai.
He proposed that Government offices under construction at Murambinda growth point be named after Cde Kangai.
“As MPs we were taught by Cde Kangai,” he said. “He always taught us about peace and development.”
