ACE music promoter, Partson “Chipaz” Chimbodza, is set to hold nationwide Cup Clashes.
Speaking to H-Metro, after the Cup Clash held in Marondera last weekend, the Chipaz Promotions boss said they are going to be in Mutare this weekend.
“Chipaz Promotion is set to hold another Cup Clash in Mutare on the 24th of September.
“We are also going to be moving around in different cities as well.
“We are doing a talent search for the Chipaz brand.
“We are looking for more talent from different places.”
Chipaz said he was delighted with the turnout on Saturday.
“The Marondera show was well attended. Thank you so much Marondera,” he said.
Fans have been known to throw stones and bottles on stage, during shows, and this has resulted in some of the events ending prematurely.
Asked what measures they are going to be taking, to stop the violence which erupts during live shows, he said:
“Violence needs collective efforts from everyone.
“People need to come together and stop this, the fans, the media, corporates and artists.”
