HWANGE utility player Eric Chipeta has reiterated his position that he has no intention of signing for any local club.
The 2013 Soccer Star of the Year finalist, who has been in scintillating form since the season started a fortnight ago, has helped the coalminers win their opening two games.
Chipangano massacred army side, Buffaloes 5-1 in the season opener at the Colliery Stadium before coming back from behind to upstage FC Platinum 3-2 in their own backyard over the weekend.
Chipeta was instrumental in all the three goals in which he created two before scoring straight from the corner kick to earn the coalminers maximum points in the process maintaining top spot on the league’s log standings.
The Hwange player said he is happy at the club and added that he would only consider a move abroad if he is to leave Chipangano.
“I am happy at Hwange and I will not be joining any club in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League because we have a strong squad this season which is capable of matching any team in the league at the moment.
“If I am to leave Hwange then it will be an offer from outside the country. As of now I am enjoying my game here,” said the Warriors right back who was part of the team which took part in the Chan Championships and reached the semi-finals.
Chipeta was on the radar of Bulawayo giants Highlanders and FC Platinum during the off-season.
