Chipezeze R100 000 richer as mighty Pirates fall

Online Reporter
Former Warriors and Chicken Inn goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze was in top form, winning the man of the match award at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa today.
Chipezeze was in fine form for Magesi, a new team in the South Africa Premier Soccer League which shocked Orlando Pirates 3-2 in the Carling Cup knock out competition.
Another Zimbabwean and former Chicken Inn striker Edmore Chirambadare played a key role for Magesi, netting in the third goal just before half time.
Pirates fought hard in the last ten minutes of the match scoring two goals, and had what would have been an equaliser to take the game to extra time ruled offside.

It was Pirates who went into the match as favourites, after dominating domestic Cup competitions in recent seasons. Pirates were knocked out in the opening round of the cup competition for the first time in five seasons.
