IT appears Obriel Chirinda’s woes are not over yet.
He has been cleared by ZIFA to play for champions Ngezi Platinum Stars.
Chirinda missed Ngezi’s 14 opening games because of a dispute in which Dynamos are also claiming ownership of his signature.
Dynamos chairman, Moses Maunganidze, has said the club was never given a chance to appear before the ZIFA Players Status Committee to give their side of the story.
After submitting their case outline, said Maunganidze, Dynamos anticipated a round table meeting at which they would present the bulk of their paperwork.
“We are going to sit and go through the judgment again, our query is that when we were asked to avail documents to do with Chirinda, we did not submit our heads of argument,” he said.
“The hope was that the matter was going to be heard physically hence we would be invited for oral submission.
“All we had done was to serve them with documents, chronicling what transpired between parties but we were only surprised to wake up to a judgment.
“We were not alive to the fact that the documents we had submitted were the ones used to pass judgment so we were not given a chance to defend our side.”
Last week, the ZIFA Players Status Committee deliberated on the case and ordered that the PSL should allow Chirinda to play for Ngezi.
