Chisipite continues to impress

The Chisipite girls tennis team underlined their dominance and experience with an 8-4 overall win in the senior girls section. Chisipite’s Tennis Team, fresh from their tour in South Africa, opened their third term school season with resounding victories over visiting Lomagundi College in both the senior and junior teams.

Chisipite underlined their dominance and experience with an 8-4 overall win in the senior girls section. They followed up with a 12-0 and 10-2 score lines in the under 14 and 15 divisions before the B team capped the impressive day with another 10-2 victory for the senior girls.

In another match, Mabelreign Girls High School won this year’s under 18 first football tournament hosted at Chisipite last week last week after outplaying all opposition. The tournament featured eight teams namely hosts Chisipite, Gateway, Arundel, Dominican Convent, Eaglesvale, Westridge, Hillcrest, and Mabelreign Girls High.

Mabelreign beat Gateway in the final 1-0 to claim gold in the eight team tournament. The girls from Mabelreign posted some impressive results throughout the tournament with victories, over Arundel and hosts Chisipite.

Gateway finished second and earned the silver medal. Chisipite earned third place after beating Arundel in the third place playoff match. — The Suburban.
