SIMBA Bhora head coach Tonderai Ndiraya has allayed fears that industrious midfielder Ronald Chitiyo picked a serious head injury during the game against Bulawayo Chiefs on Saturday.

Chitiyo, who was on top of his game, in a match that Simba Bhora won 1-0, sustained a cut on top of his left eye deep into the second half of the match.

“It was unfortunate that Chitiyo got injured in that match after doing well for us. At first, we thought it was a very big injury. He got a cut on his eye. However, it was not a deep cut. He was treated well and we hope will come to help us in our midweek fixtures with his former club CAPS United,” said Ndiraya.

Simba Bhora are on Wednesday set to meet Makepekepe at Mhondoro’s Baobab Stadium.
