YADAH coach, Expense Chitukutuku, will not change his style in a quest for immediate results.
Chitukututuku is called Pep by some fans.
Yadah have controlled possession in most of their games but the final pass has been the major letdown. On Saturday, the Miracle Boys were punished by Highlanders late and crashed to a 0-2 home defeat at the National Sports Stadium.
Junior Zindoga and Prosper Kafelapanjila were outstanding for Yadah.
But, it was Highlanders forward, Calvin Chigonero, who grabbed all the headlines with his brace on debut. Yadah are now in position 12th with seven points. Their fans will probably say they are only five points behind leaders CAPS United and that represents a positive spin to their campaign. Chitukutuku said he enjoys watching the ball being passed around by his boys and wants them to master the style, even though this might cost them some matches along the way.
“I enjoy passing the ball. If you want to score you have to keep the ball. You don’t score when you don’t have the ball,” said Chitukutuku. “It’s hard work for us.
“It is a lot of homework for us to be able to collect the results while playing attractive football but the time will come and we will win.”
He added: “The guys are working very hard in training. They are showing a big improvement, especially in ball possession, which is great. The youngsters are working on their weaknesses and I know we will be expecting more goals from them and they are going to score.”
Yadah will be facing Bulawayo Chiefs in a match scheduled for Luveve on Saturday.
