JUST a few days after losing his debut super middleweight fight, Bulawayo boxer Lawrence Chiyangwa has been allowed to redeem himself

Chiyangwa lost a four-round international debut fight against South African Jared Hensberg at a Golden Gloves Production at Emperors Palace on Saturday.

He is set to fight at the Charles Manyuchi and Deltaforce Boxing Academy bill dubbed ‘Gloves On’ in Chivhu on November 1.

Chiyangwa lost on a split decision to his opponent, in a fight that left his corner Lobengula Boxing Academy convinced that they are on the right track.

Sibanda on Wednesday morning confirmed that Chiyangwa has been presented an opportunity to fight for the national title on November 1.

“Hoping we will get this one on,” said Anderson Sibanda who manages Chiyangwa and sat on his corner in South Africa.

His opponent for the national title fight on November 1 is Lazarus Sithole.
