GET ready, food lovers!

The city’s dining landscape is about to witness a seismic shift as the grand unveiling of Chop Chop Express looms on the horizon.

At the weekend, the Chop Chop branch, located at the corner of Angwa and Nelson Mandela Avenue, was reopened.

The branch was closed for some time leaving the franchise’s patrons with only one choice in town, which is situated at the corner of Herbert Chitepo Avenue and Eighth Street.

Unfortunately, it was temporarily closed to allow repairs after being damaged by fire.

One of the directors, Temesai Chimusoro, said the branch at the corner of Angwa and Nelson Mandela Avenue, was temporarily closed to allow a change of the menus and also new sitting arrangements.

“In as much as things are a bit tight, we are investing to meet our clients’ needs and the needs of the next generation.

“We value our clients hence we are trying to bring the best for them.

“I like the competition in the industry, it promotes quality of service delivered to the clients and also allows variety.”

He said Chop Chop has branded itself into three set-ups which are the restaurant, the garden and express shop.

“We have decided to have a restaurant set-up, for example, the one at the corner of Eighth and Herbert Chitepo, a garden set-up at Zindoga and this is now an express set-up.

“You can find fast food, tea and also some liquor.”

Chop Chop Group Marketing Manager, Ruwarashe Hove, said the Express shop is ready to give their patrons an unforgettable time.

“We want our Express shop to become the go-to destination for food enthusiasts from far and wide.

“We have everything for our customers and we promise excellent quality service, affordability and speed of service as you can see it’s an Express shop,” she said.

She said in two weeks’ time, they are going to open another branch in Avondale.
