“The result did not come as a surprise but it strengthened us so that we will be focused,” said Chunga, who said it was inevitable that his side would lose one day.
“We expect any result in the game and this was one of the results to expect. I salute my boys for the good job they have done so far collecting 40 points and for us we are still on the right track.
“The team played well, we are not blaming the defeat on them pulling out the ball-boys and leaving a single ball on the field but it was something, which we do not expect.
“It is good that we will play them in the reverse fixture this coming weekend so we will be well prepared.”
Before the defeat, Hippo Valley had just dropped two points through a home draw while they had won all other matches.
This was just the third goal that Chunga’s men have conceded all season.
