MASHONALAND East Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Advocate Itayi Ndudzo has commended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for investing in the education sector through the construction of Chirozva Primary School in Goromonzi District.
Chirozva Primary School was commissioned today by Adv Ndudzo.
About three modern blocks of classrooms were built, bringing relief to learners and parents in Ward 15 of Goromonzi district.
“It is with immense pride and gratitude that I stand before you today to celebrate a significant milestone in our quest for educational excellence,” he said.
“The commissioning of these newly-constructed classroom blocks, the installation of a solar borehole, the electrification of classrooms and the provision of essential furniture mark a transformational moment for our community and our future generations.
“Distinguished guests, let me extend my heartfelt thanks to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Your unwavering generosity and commitment to enhancing educational opportunities in our community are truly inspiring. This project stands as a testament to your dedication and vision, one that aligns seamlessly with our collective aspiration for a brighter future. As it is written in Galatians 6:2, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ”.
“Your support not only complements the efforts of President Mnangagwa and the Second Republic, but also reinforces the idea that together, we can achieve remarkable progress.”
