A CARETAKER at a church in Bulawayo allegedly exposed his manhood to a 10-year-old girl in an attempt to seduce her and violently pushed his wife against the wall after she accused him of cheating on her.
Kenneth Muzamba (53) a caretaker at Methodist Church in Mzilikazi appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Maxwell Ncube facing charges of indecent assault and physical abuse.
He pleaded not guilty to both counts.
He was remanded out of custody to 19 January on US$100 bail.
The court heard that on a date not known by the prosecutor but sometime in November last year at around 830pm the elderly flasher asked the minor girl to accompany him to the church to turn on the lights.
The court heard the girl innocently accompanied Muzamba to the church. Once inside, he grabbed her before switching on the lights.
It is alleged he fondled her breasts and buttocks before exposing his manhood to her.
The court heard the minor girl screamed before she freed herself from his tight grip and fled home.
She reported the incident to her sister who later accompanied her to report the incident to the police leading to Muzamba’s arrest.
The court further heard that on 26 December last year, his wife Thulani Mlotshwa (39) confronted him and accused him of cheating on her with several women.
Muzamba allegedly grabbed her by her neck and violently pushed her against the wall.
The court heard she bled from the head before she collapsed and she was rushed to hospital.
