Church commended for building school

The Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church has been commended for constructing a school in Zengeza 4, which is expected to ease the burden for many pupils in the area.

The church has completed four blocks, which have since been approved by the local authorities, and partial enrolment has begun. In an interview with The Herald, Zengeza 4 and Ward 14 Councillor Lameck Chibvongodze said the new school will help many pupils, most of who were travelling distances to school.

“This school is a major relief to the community. This is the only community where pupils cross four major roads when going to school and we always have incidents where children are hit by speeding vehicles,” said Clr Chibvongodze.

“As Ward 14 Councillor, I want to applaud the Seventh Day Adventist church for the school, Revelation of Hope Primary School, which has already made life easier for parents and children.”

Clr Chibvongodze urged responsible authorities in the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education to speed up the registration process of the school so that full enrolment begins.
