A brain-child of Let the Trust under the directorship of Chido Musasiwa-Gutu, the annual event brings together young talent from across the country.

The two-day festival, which celebrates Zimbabwe’s rich cultural heritage, will be running between 8 am to 4:30 pm.

“The two-day event will showcase the talent of school children, emerging artists, and renowned artists from across Zimbabwe,” she said.

“The festival is a platform for young voices to be heard and celebrated. Friday’s line-up includes theatre, poetry, traditional music, and dance performances, while Saturday features music, dance, and fashion shows. Visual arts will be on permanent display throughout the festival.

“The festival has been part of Zimbabwe’s arts scene for 12 years, and this year’s event promises to be the biggest and the best so far,” she said.

Fashion shows will be held under the theme ‘Afrocentric with Zimbabwean Fusion.

The theme for dances will be ‘Ubuntu’.
