Ciara praises new boyfriend

Ciara says new boyfriend Russell Wilson is ‘‘an awesome person’’ and believes ‘‘everything in life is about timing.’’

The ‘‘I Bet’’ hitmaker, who has two-year-old son Future Jr with ex-fiancé Future, is very happy after recently starting to date the NFL quarterback. The 29-year-old singer said: ‘‘He’s an awesome person . . . Everything in life is about timing.’’

But the brunette beauty, who attended US President Barack Obama’s Japanese state dinner at the White House in Washington DC with the Seattle Seahawks star late last month, admits she used to be attracted to bad boys. She said: ‘‘I’ve always had this thing for a rebel. I was pretty consistent.’’

The ‘‘Goodies’’ hitmaker split from Future, 31, in December after trying to mend their relationship in August following rumours he cheated on her with his stylist while on tour, but she insists she is now completely over the rapper.

She told US Hip Hop radio station Hot 97: ‘‘Men take breakups a little different. I don’t wish it on anybody . . . Women, we go through our healing process right away. Men, they take a moment to go and fight away the feeling. (But) I’m moving at my timing that works for me.’’

A source previously revealed Ciara thinks Russell, 26, is ‘‘a complete gentleman.’’

The insider added: ‘‘It’s constant laughter and fun with them. Things are a bit busy for both of them now, but they are willing to make time and see where this may go.’’— TMZ.
