CIMAS Health Group has reaffirmed its commitment to preventive healthcare and community wellness after partnering with the Bonaqua Africa Triathlon Cup and Multisport Festival Troutbeck 2026 through its wellness division, iGo.
Speaking at the press launch in Harare, the group’s chief marketing officer, Mr Manatsa Gaka, said the sponsorship reflected the organisation’s broader mission to inspire healthier communities beyond traditional clinical settings.
“On behalf of Cimas Health Group, it is a privilege to stand before you today as a strategic partner for the Bonaqua Africa Triathlon Cup and Multisport Festival Troutbeck 2026 edition through our wellness division iGo,” he said.
Mr Gaka said the event embodies the core values of the health services provider, including endurance, balance, mental strength and physical wellness.
“At Cimas Health Group, we exist for one simple, but powerful purpose: to inspire healthier communities,” he said.
“This belief is not confined to hospitals, clinics, or policies — it lives in moments like this, where people choose movement, discipline, resilience and purpose.”
The Bonaqua Africa Triathlon Cup brings together elite and amateur athletes for a test of stamina across the swimming, cycling, and running disciplines in the resort town of Troutbeck.
Mr Gaka said the partnership was deliberate as performance and prevention go hand in hand.
“When brands with shared values come together, the impact goes far beyond visibility. It shapes behaviour, it inspires action and it normalises healthy choices,” he said.
With a legacy spanning more than 80 years, Cimas Health Group has been repositioning itself from primarily funding medical care to actively influencing health outcomes through prevention-focused initiatives.
“We are investing in prevention and wellness under our iGo programmes, and digital health solutions that empower people to take charge of their wellbeing every day, not only when they fall ill,” said Mr Gaka.
He said supporting sporting platforms such as the Bonaqua Africa Triathlon Cup aligns with the group’s vision of fostering wellness at the community level.
“To the event organisers and partners, thank you for creating such a platform that celebrates health in motion. May today remind us that the best investment we can ever make is in our health,” Mr Gaka said.
The 2026 edition of the festival is expected to draw regional and international competitors, further positioning Zimbabwe as a growing hub for multisport tourism while advancing the national conversation around fitness and preventive healthcare.
