MARK HARRISON’S Harare City continue to impress by each passing week and yesterday, the Sunshine Boys fought back to earn a point against Chicken Inn at Luveve.
City were down as early as the third minute when Obriel Chirinda found the target for the Gamecocks who went into the game as favourites to win this contest.
However, Harare City refused to be bullied and seized control of the game in the second half and deservedly equalised from the spot through Moses Muchenje.
The introduction of speed merchant Martin Vengesayi, who replaced Tatenda Tumba in the 68th minute, changed the complexion of the game.
With Vengesayi causing mayhem, City piled on the pressure and found the equalizer from the spot in the 79th minute.
Malvin Gaki was brought down by Simon Munawa and Muchenje beat Elvis Chipezeze to earn Harare City a vital point.
