The City of Masvingo is working on Rujeko D housing development project in line with Vision 2030 in a bid to improve service delivery.

City of Masvingo spokesperson, Ms Ashleigh Jinjika, said it is the council’s mandate to provide a full compliant package in the next six months with a well-constructed water, sewer network, tarred roads and lined storm water drains for occupation.

“In line with the above, churches which had temporarily occupied that area are advised to vacate with immediate effect to pave the way for the works,” she said.

“This also applies to any inhabitants who had their crops or had any interests in the area of this development, to vacate with immediate effect.”
