The highly anticipated City to City concert took place at the Harare International Conference Centre on Saturday, featuring a star-studded line-up of artistes.

While some performers stole the show, others struggled to connect with the audience. The ladies, Nisha Ts and Tamy Moyo, delivered performances that solidified their position in the entertainment circles.

Nisha Ts, with only a few minutes on stage, stole the show. She delivered a solid performance, impressing the audience with her energy and passion.

Despite taking a while to get on stage, she was “on fire” once she started performing.

Her brief but captivating set earned her accolades from the crowd, with some even hailing her as the show’s saviour.

Nisha Ts introduced Saintfloew and Ninety-6 on the stage in a Nash TV heist of the City to City concert, delivering a solid performance. She had kept the fans waiting, but when she eventually stepped onto the stage at around midnight.

Tamy Moyo, like Nisha Ts, delivered a flawless performance. She gave her best, making the most of her time on stage.

With the entrance of an amapiano song, Tamy Moyo had the best time dancing along and displaying high energy.

“This is very good for us music lovers. What Tamy Moyo and Nisha Ts did on that stage was massive, we had a good time because of their captivating energy. Tamy’s dance moves are the best,” said Tendai Muchemwa, a fan.

Chillmaster, who recently made his return to the stage after a tumultuous period, faced a mixed reaction from the crowd. His performance was marred by a lukewarm reception, with some audience members leaving the venue as he took to the stage.

Despite his efforts to engage with the fans, his playlist, which included several sad songs, failed to match the energy of the crowd. To make matters worse, his outfit was met with confusion and criticism from some fans, who questioned his fashion choices.

“This is not what we paid for, even his outfit — what was he thinking? Most of these artistes are very bad when it comes to the wardrobe,” said a fan.

Dubbed “City to City: Best of the Best,” the tour kicked off in April with Freeman, Enzo, Master H and Killer T moving together.

The tour has been to Mutare, Bindura, Gweru and Masvingo.

Nisha Ts, Chillmaster and Tamy Moyo performed for the first time on this tour as supporting acts.

The concert wasn’t all bad, with other artistes delivering impressive performances:

Enzo Ishall, the stylish performer, rocked a sleek black outfit, bringing the house down with his energetic set.

Freeman HKD, collaborating with Darula, delivered a memorable performance that left fans wanting more.

With his most popular words on stage, “Munhu Wese,” the charismatic chanter worked the crowd with his popular phrase ensuring everyone had a good time.

Master H alongside his Bottom Camp band, gave a solid performance that showcased his talent.

The City to City concert was a testament to the power of live music, with some artistes rising to the occasion while others faltered. Despite the ups and downs, the event was a memorable experience for fans, who were treated to a diverse range of performances. With its strong line-up and energetic atmosphere, the concert was a success, leaving attendees eagerly anticipating the next show.
