MUSICIAN Cleo Arie is on cloud nine after luring Nutty O for a love song titled Pillar.
Cleo Arie said it was her dream to collaborate with the dancehall star since they shared the same vibe.
“Nutty O and I have always shared a musical chemistry.
“We have been anticipating working together for a long time and now seemed to be the perfect time to work on something together,” she said.
Cleo Arie said the song was an expression of how love can be the source of strength and inspiration.
“It addresses the brighter side of love, by highlighting the reasons why I love my partner.
“The song speaks about how one’s lover is a ‘pillar of strength’ and at the same time being an ‘emotional healer,’” she told H-Metro.
Cleo Arie is happy to note the positive reaction from the music fans to her collabo with Nutty O.
“The fans have reacted positively towards this new song and this is reflected through YouTube where the song is now sitting at number 14 on the trending music in Zimbabwe.
The comments and reviews by the listeners prove that the song is a feast for the ears.
I am expecting to grow my fan base and for my music to reach a new audience through this collaboration.”
Cleo Arie was ushered into the limelight of the showbiz in 2019 after she was selected by Mr Eazi as part of the top 10 talented Zimbabwean representatives of the Empawa project.
Empawa’s aim was to empower young African artists by assisting them to record music and make videos.
She has promised more singles this year, and an EP at the beginning of next year.
