ONLY seven coaches have paid their registration fees for the high profile soccer coaching course – Caf C Licence with just four days left before the course starts in Victoria Falls,
This is the first time the Caf C course is held outside Harare.
The course which is open to Zisca Level Three and Four Coaching Certificates holders will be conducted in Victoria Falls from 12-23 September.
In a telephone interview from Victoria Falls yesterday, Clement Bonda the Zisca Matabeleland North chairman challenged coaches from the Southern Region to register for the Caf C Licence so that they enhance their careers.
The course fee is $400.
“As the host province we are ready to host the Caf C Licence.
“We opened an account where those interested in attending the course can deposit the money. Right now only seven people from Matabeleland North have paid the course fee and tomorrow.
“I will check with our national office to see if there are any people who deposited the money in their account.
“We expect to get at least 30 participants and that is why we are urging interested coaches to hurry and be part of this programme,” said Bonda.
