Cocoa Tea look-alike mobbed in city pub

The crazed reggae fans claimed he is a look-alike of the renowned Jamaican reggae musician Cocoa Tea who performed at the famed Lion Lager Beer Festival in October alongside Fantan Mojah.
The dreadlocked man, Ras Zulu, said while he was enjoying himself at a local upmarket city pub, he was stunned when a group of people mobbed him, asking for his autograph and pictures.

“They called me Cocoa Tea asking for autographs in the middle of the pub. One of them dared to ask when I arrived from Jamaica. It all happened at once. People started taking pictures using their phones and giving me rasta salutes.

“I was shocked to realise they were mistaking my face for Cocoa Tea. I guess it was because of my locks. Even my friends are now caught up in that craze and they now call me Cocoa Tea,” said the visibly excited Ras Zulu.

Revellers at the pub confessed that they almost believed Ras Zulu was the real Cocoa Tea.
“People do look alike but this one was a match,” mused one.

A close scrutinity at Ras Zulu and Cocoa Tea’s portraits shows an undeniable facial resemblence.
Although Ras Zulu professes shock, he admits to enjoying the celebrity hype.
“Now when I go to beer gardens, people yell and chant Cocoa Tea’s name at me. You begin to love being associated with such a great artiste.

“I am a rasta and like all rastas I have my favourite men in reggae like Cocoa Tea. I would love a chance to meet him and share the experience of being likened to him.”
Asked whether he got the chance to talk  to his beloved artiste, Ras Zulu put a sad face.

“It was unfortunate that I did not talk to him. If I had a chance I was definitely going to  tell him what his followers are saying. I think he would have gone a happy and surprised man that there is his look-alike in Bulawayo.”
