College kids are also students

Fadzai Gwenhe

I still feel the pain cause of no gain.

I’m in the race were only college kids have ranSome use cocaine to stop the pain

Yet they still feel the same

No child perfect

don’t spend your anger

On college students

Just like Martin Luther King said

I have A Dream

As a college students

We also have Dreams to change the world

Not to be rich

Or change living standards

But to change your

Little big story of us being baby devils.

I still feel the pain of being blamed.

I passed my O’ level at a college, I need a place

At a high school they said no place for college tudents.

We know colleges have miscreants

And over-aged students, perennial repeaters

But no one is ever too old to read and write

But are there only angels at your schools, I ask

If I have lied I will pay a fine

I still feel the pain of being

Underestimated and rejected

Please Zimbabweans, look around you.

Tears drop

But ours are popping because you no longer consider

Us as children but gamblers and gold diggers.

We beg in pain, don’t treat us like animals.

Every women is a mother, every man is a father

Treat us as your children.

Don’t hate us but love us

And help us bring change and bring the language that colleges are schools

With morals and discipline

We are not different from government schools

Help us change our status

I still feel the pain of being written off.
