Sean ‘‘Puff Daddy’’ Combs admits he’s not allowed to watch his son’s football practices following his kettlebell altercation with a UCLA football coach. The rap mogul (45) said the altercation was a case of ‘‘miscommunication’’ during a radio interview in Los Angeles. Diddy, who says he’s reverting back to the moniker Puff Daddy, said he confronted the university’s strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi in an effort to get information about what was going on with his son Justin (21).

Justin Combs returned to the football field after he worked things out with UCLA head coach Jim Mora last week, according to TMZ.

The music producer and rapper posted a photo on Instagram last week showing his son in uniform on the practice field with the caption: “GO BRUINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

On June 22, he was taken into custody by campus cops after he allegedly attacked Alosi at an athletics facility on the UCLA campus.

He was charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats, and one count of battery.

The incident occurred after Diddy had watched Justin, who’s part of the Bruins football programe, take part in a coaching session.

He apparently took issue with the way the strength and conditioning coach was treating his kid and confronted him about it in his office.

In the ensuing altercation, it’s alleged Diddy shouted and also swung at Alosi with a kettlebell.

The following day, the rap mogul issued a statement saying he had only acted in self-defence to protect himself and his son who is a junior cornerback on the team.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles District Attorney rejected the case for felony charges, but the LA City Attorney is still considering misdemeanor charges. – Dailymirror.
