THE annual Commander Zimbabwe Defence Forces Fundraising Golf Day will be held at Borrowdale Brooke on May 23.
Speaking at a press briefing for the annual event, which has been running for the past three years, the chairperson of the event, Mary Chiwengwa, said they were looking forward to a bigger and more successful event this year.
“We will be holding the annual Commander Zimbabwe Defence Forces Fundraising Golf Day at Borrowdale Brooke this coming weekend.
“The Commander (ZDF) Constantine Chiwenga will this year host the third edition of the Musha Mukadzi Trust golf tournament.
“The beneficiaries Musha Mukadzi Trust will continue with their quest to serve lives by embarking on numerous cancer programmes.
“The event will be graced by General Davis Mwamuyange of Tanzania as the guest of honour and he will be joined by other regional delegates who will participate at the event,” Chiwengwa said.
She called on companies and individuals to support the Commander Defence Forces Golf Day.
