HUNDREDS of residents from Bulawayo’s southern suburbs received free health treatment at a health expo organized by the deputy minister of Industry and Commerce and Bulawayo South legislator Cde Raj Modi on Tuesday.

The expo, is running concurrently with the unveiling of a newly constructed block of three Early Childhood Development (ECD) classrooms at Masuku Primary School in Tshabalala.

During the expo medical personnel from Mpilo Central Hospital provided free health consultations and medication to community members, underscoring the Government’s commitment to promoting public health and well-being.
“Access to healthcare services is a fundamental right, and events like these play a crucial role in ensuring that our communities receive the care and support they need,” said a health practitioner.

The health expo offered residents the opportunity to receive medical consultations and medication at no cost.
The initiative aimed to address healthcare disparities and provide vital support to those in need.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to receive free health services through the expo organized by Cde Raj Modi,” said a local resident who benefited from the event. “Having access to healthcare assistance directly in our community is truly invaluable, especially for those who may face challenges in seeking medical care.”
