A WELL-KNOWN construction company has been dragged to court for fraud after attempting to sell a residential stand for a second time.

Champion Constructors, which was represented by director Elizabeth Chidavaenzi,  is said to have attempted to sell the Waterfalls stand for US$55 000.

The complainant, Enerst Makunde, paid                      $150 000 for the stand in 2001 and signed an agreement of sale.

Makunde saw an online advert on May 8 this year of the same stand was being sold again by Champion Constructors, through Opulent Homes Estate Agents, and reported the matter to the police.
